Self-care and mental and emotional wellness have always been close to my heart but in 2017, they became something far more personal. After navigating a significant season of loss and change, I found myself at a crossroads, searching for a way back to myself. Journaling became my anchor, and through that quiet, consistent practice of self-reflection, I began to understand what it truly meant to know yourself without judgment, to sit with your mistakes, your insecurities, and your unmet needs, and choose to nurture them anyway.

That journey led me to start Cassie's Cure in September of 2017. First as a personal blog, then as something I realized others needed too. By 2019, what began as a private practice of healing had grown into a full wellness brand, because I wasn't the only one craving that kind of space.

That same desire to go deeper is what eventually led me to pursue therapy so I can help others to the same. Today, as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring both lived experience and clinical training to this work and I am so honored to do so.

the birth of this journey.

As a Wellness Educator and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with 7+ years in self-care, mentorship, and wellness, I blend clinical insight with real, lived experience to help you reconnect with who you are and who you're becoming. Through my wellness retreats, workshops, and trainings, we go deep. This work is about sustainable healing, confidence that sticks, and finding joy that's actually yours.

Helping you heal, grow, and finally feel safe at home in your own skin!

My Community Core Values

In order to choose yourself first and love yourself better, you have to know who you are outside of whom society has taught you to be. I aim to teach women how to find out who they really are and who they aspire to be.

There's healing in vulnerability and there's healing in safe spaces that allow you to vulnerable with the good, the bad, and the ugly. I've made it my goal to be that safe space for me and you

In order to live a peaceful lifestyle, you have to continuously invite peace around you. Through my work, I make it a goal to create environments that allow us to talk, learn, and live peacefully.

my journey

I published my first poetry book, The Peel Back—a collection of over 20 poems capturing the thoughts and emotions I had long kept hidden. The response from readers reminded me of the power of vulnerability and inspired me to start creating wellness experiences for myself and my friends.

April 2019

While in graduate school at the University of Houston working on my M.Ed. in Higher Education, people began reaching out to say my words helped them through difficult seasons. Their messages encouraged me to keep writing, and blogging became a part of my rhythm for a while.

March 2018

Something in me wanted to share. I opened my blog to the public, not to present myself as an expert, but simply to tell the truth about my pain, what I was learning, and how I was beginning to see my own role in my healing.

January 2018

I started a private wellness blog after ending an emotionally draining relationship. It became my safe space to write down all of my thoughts—even the ones that felt too heavy or embarrassing to say out loud.

September 2017

My friends began urging me to turn my passion into something more. They saw me as a natural healer and encouraged me to share beyond my inner circle. Still, I hesitated, holding both the desire to help and the fear of stepping out.

September 2019

The pandemic gave me pause and clarity. Sitting at home, I realized it was time to turn my self-care and wellness practices into something larger. I invested in my first business coach and began building what would become Cassie’s Cure.

January 2020

I hosted my first wellness retreat, Pieces of Peace. It sold out, bringing together 20 women for a weekend of reflection, laughter, creativity, and rest.

August 2020

I hosted my second retreat, and I knew I had found something worth continuing. These weekends became sacred spaces for women to rest, reconnect, and recommit to their self-love journeys.

January 2021

I completed a Self-Love Coaching Certification. This training deepened my ability to guide women in practicing self-care not as a luxury, but as a daily rhythm of compassion and presence.

July 2021

I realized coaching alone could only take people so far. I wanted to go deeper—to hold space not just for self-care, but for the layers of pain, grief, anxiety, and growth underneath. That’s when I decided to return to school to become a therapist.

August 2022

I graduated with my M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University.

august 2025

I am both a Therapist and a Wellness Educator. I walk with my clients through the complexities of their mental and emotional health, offering therapy, consulting, and workshops. Whether it’s in the therapy room, at a retreat, or on a college campus, my work now lives at the intersection of healing and education. My calling is simple: to remind people that peace, growth, and compassion are possible—and that they don’t have to find the way alone.
